Story Behind the Blue Chair
So… why blue chair?
One afternoon, I came across a beautiful blue chair that used to reside in my family’s living area. For a reason unbeknownst to me, the chair had been dragged into a corner of a dark back room, left with little purpose other than to reminisce on its former glory days.
Seeing potential in the lovely piece of furniture, I moved the chair into a corner of my bedroom. I used a quirky-looking stump as a side table and added a little lamp to complete the cozy corner.
Over the next few weeks, something shifted in the room.
Almost every person who entered gravitated toward the blue chair. They sat, talked, and lingered in my room far longer than they ever did before. Connection and conversation took place in that space on a deeper level simply because of the blue chair’s presence.
